IMPSA's Colombo Crane Moves

GRT was contracted by IMPSA Port Systems for the transport of nine new Post Panamax Container Cranes to South Asia Gateway Terminal (SAGT) in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The shipment of cranes took place in four voyages. One voyage of three cranes from Tianjin, China. One voyage of three cranes from Cilegon, Indonesia. One voyage of two cranes from Cilegon, Indonesia and one voyage of one crane from Cilegon, Indonesia.
GRT provided all marine vessels for the transportation of the cranes and equipment for loading and unloading of the cranes. They supplied all engineering services and logistics required for the loading, transport and unloading. And in addition GRT supplied the supervision and on site engineers for the loading, securing and unloading of the cranes. GRT approaches every project with a proven strategy of safety and efficiency.
