Global Rigging and Transport undertakes many projects that involve ballast operations. As a result, we purchased a fully containerized ballast system with a total capacity of 7600-tons per hour. GRT provides customers with an engineered ballast plan for loading and unloading project cargo. They also provide the ballast technicians and all ballast equipment for making the loading and unloading a smooth operation. Global Rigging & Transport ballast system consist of twenty 6" electric submersible ballast pumps.  The twenty pumps are operated by four central control kiosks and the system is capable of handling complex loading and unloading operations, including extreme tidal situations.
